VOCABULARY
to handle - очень часто используется в значении "обходиться (кем-либо, чем-либо); обращаться с; управлять;" и в значении "сговориться; столковаться; иметь дело".

"You can handle something", "if you can handle" я слышала и при общении с американцами, и в фильме Something's Gotta Give.
Примеры употребления (из Интернета):

... Sam was now at the wheel, and as he could handle the car as well as his brother, the run to Cliffwood did not take long.

You thought that whatever happened, you could handle it. You thought that you were in control. You thought wrong. Now you've lost it all. She's gone.

Some general guidelines for choosing a mortgage include the following:
Know how much you will have to pay and when you will have to make the payments. If you are asked to sign a mortgage with variable provisions, assess what the worst possible case could be and decide if you could handle it.

GRAMMAR - Word order - adverbs with the verb
"Some adverbs (for example, always, also, probably) go with the verb in the middle of a sentence:
He always goes to work by bus.
We were feeling very tired and we were also hungry.
Your car has probably been stolen.

1) If the verb is one word (goes, fell, cooked etc.), the adverb usually goes before the verb:
I cleaned the house and also cooked the dinner (NOT 'cooked also')
Lucy hardly ever watches television and rarely reads newspapers.

Note that these adverbs (always, often, also etc.) go before have to:
We always have to wait a long time for the bus. (NOT 'we have always to wait')

2) But adverbs go after am/is/are/was/were:
Why are you always late? You're never on time.
The traffic isn't usually as bad as it was this morning.

3) If the verb is two or more words (can remember/doesn't smoke/has been stolen etc.), the adverb goes after the first verb (can/doesn't/has etc.):
My parents have always lived in London.
Jack can't cook. He can't even boil an egg.
The house was only built a year ago and it's already falling down."[1]
